This past weekend Team Babbitt’s Monster Energy TiLUBE Kawasaki rolled into
chilly Kansas City, Missouri for Round 4 of the 2010 AMA Arenacross Series.
Destined to keep the winning streak alive in the magnificent Kemper Sports
Complex, with a one night race format, Team Babbitt’s Monster Energy TiLUBE
Kawasaki had Saturday night to shine!
When the gate dropped for heat one, Demuth roared off the line ripping the hole
shot, leading the race wire to wire and taking the win! Chad Johnson started
strong in 4th place and battled into 3rd for a podium finish!
Heat two was a piece of cake for Tyler "Hitman" Bowers! Bowers
grabbed 1st place and set the fastest lap time of the evening, giving Bowers
the first gate pick for the main event!
Team Babbitt’s Monster Energy TiLUBE Kawasaki set the fastest three lap times
of the night! Bowers 1st, Johnson 2nd and Demuth 3rd. All riders were coming in
hot and ready to challenge for Saturday night’s championship! Under the lights
of the main event, the gate dropped and Josh Demuth stormed off the line! The
Sheriff was back in town! Demuth pulled the hole shot, distanced himself from
the pack and never looked back! Demuth proudly claimed his first win of the
season! Chad Johnson left the gate in the fourth place, coming in strong and
not too far behind Bowers. Charging the pack, Johnson moved into 2nd place to
join his teammate on the podium!
With a five-race winning streak behind him, Tyler bowers had his first run of
bad luck this season! An unlucky crash resulted in a cut front brake hose that
wrapped around his front wheel! Fortunately for Bowers the hose broke and he
was able to go on and finish 8th in the main event!
